Designed to carry up to 10mt (36ft) in length and 8 tonnes in weight.
This vehicle is equipped to carry most configurations of boats from fin keel yachts to a 35’ cruiser, or even a boat on a trailer as it is fitted with a 5 tonne winch. The flatbed facility has an air operated beaver tail to accommodate shaft driven boats, with the versatility to also transport cradles, stands and trailers etc.
We can also tow a 7mt boat trailer behind this vehicle up to 3.5 tonne, therefore giving the facility of multiple loads.
K16 DAF is driven by Vic Evans who has worked for us for since 2002 and has gained a lot of continental driving experience. He is also a fully qualified day skipper and engineer.

K17DAF ~ Volvo FM 12 420 ~ 28 ton
This is an articulated lorry and specialized boat trailer. This will enable us to carry larger boats, up to 40' in length and 10 ton in weight. The trailer is fitted with acros so that various configeration of boats may be carried, and also has mud guards are fitted to protect boats from stone chips.
This vehicle is driven by our daughter Kate who is a fully qualified class 1 driver and has worked in the family business since 2004. She has a great deal of experience in handling all aspects of boats moving from collection in the docks to delivery to marinas.
K200DAF ~ Mercedes Atego 7.5 tonne
This is designed to carry smaller boats on cradles or trailers, and can also tow trailers up to 3.5 tonne and up to 10mt long. K200 DAF is also equipped with a small 1 tonne Hiab and a sliding bed to 5 % tilt with a 4 tonne winch.

This vehicle is used for towing boats up to 10 mt in length; therefore boats must be less than 2750kg to be legally towed in the UK and Europe.
We have five different trailers for carrying boats, which gives the facility to carry most hull configurations safely to there destination. All our trailers have mud guards to protect the boats from stone chips whilst in transit.
All four vehicles run on tachographs to ensure all boats are carried within European law and comply with our marine transit insurance to give you the boat owner peace of mind, and ourselves the knowledge that we are giving a complete personal and professional service at all times.
Your own trailer, (with or without boat) can be towed by ourselves, as long as it has been regularly serviced. Please give us a call if you are uncertain about anything technical (e.g. will your boat fit) and we can advise you.
